Jeanie Ware graduated from Loma Linda University in 1978 with a degree in Nurse Anesthesia. After graduating she took a solo position in Anesthesia in Northern California until she started doing "Locum Tenens" Anesthesia and traveling to many parts of the U.S.
In doing history and physicals for pre-operative evaluations, she started to realize the illnesses that people were having were preventable. She started doing research in lifestyle changes including diet and exercise.
After visiting Wildwood Lifestyle Center in Georgia (no affiliation to us) she had the strong desire to share this knowledge with other people in need of a lifestyle change and converted her large bed & breakfast into a health retreat/lifestyle center.
The inn is on over 100 acres on beautiful Lake of the Woods on the Canadian border in Northern Minnesota. It has 6 guest rooms, a large great room and dining room as well as a fitness room and therapy area.
She gives community health lectures covering such topics as diabetes, heart disease, cancer prevention and hypertension to name a few. |
